What is Camas Meadows’ dress code?
Camas Meadows requires collared shirts and some kind of golf pants (slacks) or skirts (for women). Denim is not allowed. Soft spike shoes are okay, but metal spikes are not.
When I played at Camas Meadows, they didn’t seem strict so long as you had a collared shirt and wasn’t wearing denim. I saw players with untucked shirts and you could wear golf outwear such as hoodies.
As for the driving range, there is no dress code. I’ve used the driving range at Camas Meadows wearing sweat pants, shorts, (denim) jeans, etc. I’ve also seen guys wear tank tops.
What is Camas Meadows’ driving range hours?
This varies by season. During the summer, the driving range usually opens between 7am-8am and closes around 8pm-9pm. During the winter, the driving range opens around 8am and closes around 7pm-8pm.
That said, I’ve noticed that the driving range hours has changed a bit from what they used to. For example, during summer 2022, the driving range didn’t open as early as it did in 2021.
You might call ahead if you need a precise time to plan around.
Does Camas Meadows offer golf lessons?
Yes, it appears that they do, though it’s not clear exactly what they offer at the moment. I’ve seen an instructor offer 1-on-1 lessons recently.
I took a co-ed group adult class that spanned four weeks in the winter of 2020. I also took several 1-on-1 lessons in spring and summer of 2021.
I suggest giving them a call or swinging by the pro shop to find out exactly the types of golf lessons and instructions they’re offering in 2022 and beyond.
Can you walk Camas Meadows golf course?
Yeah, you can, but it is a long and tough walk. I walked it when the ground was softer, which likely made it a bit tougher. I suspect it might be easier in the summer.
That said, everyone I have spoken to has agreed that walking the golf course at Camas Meadows is tough. Most if not all the people I spoke to get a cart when they play there.
What are Camas Meadows green fees?
