Rose City Golf Course was established in 1923. It is the city’s second-oldest municipal golf course in Portland, Oregon.
This 18-hole, par-72 course spans 6,520 yards. Its classic, tree-lined design appeals to golfers of all skill levels. Long par-4s, strategically placed bunkers, and water hazards on holes 10, 11, 14, and 15 provide a good challenge.
The historic clubhouse, built in 1932, adds to the course’s charm. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Inside, golfers can visit the pro shop or enjoy meals at the Rose City Grill. The grill serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily.
Rose City has a putting green for warm-up and practice. Golfers often praise the course for its well-maintained fairways and greens, even in wet months. The layout combines history and challenge, making it a favorite for both locals and visitors.
